10 years of photographing weddings at Caswell House

Caswell house is a breathtaking venue; with the cotswolds stone barns and beautifully designed Country garden.

Being an Caswell House Wedding Photographer is a dream.

I first worked at Caswell House in 2017 and have been back many times since with my 10 year anniversary of photographing weddings at Caswell looming within the year I thought it would be the perfect time to look back and reflect on the weddings I have been fortunate enough to capture. Here is a photo of Jamie and I at the end of Sean and Sarah’s wedding day in October 2024 (with a little bump in tow) here are some of my favourites from that day.

The Caswell House Wedding Experience

You enter the venue via a scenic driveway leading towards the restored 15th-century barns surrounding by landscaped gardens and countryside views.

Entering the barn, its warm, cobbled walls are inviting to everyone who enters and huge glass doors frame the garden perfectly. You may even spot some waddling ducks!

Following the path from the barn into the garden you notice a secret gate in the far corner, if you enter through there is a landscaped garden perfect for couple portraits whilst guests are in the garden next door with no ink link at all.

The on site accommodation and designated prep area

The bridal prep space has designated mirrors, a private room for getting dressed in and is only a few metres walk from the main barn – ideal for those rainy days.

There are 16 bedrooms on site which is ideal for inviting immediate family members or bridal party to stay.

Plenty of Ceremony Space Options

Caswell House offers both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. What I love about Caswell House is the Indoor Ceremony space; its warm stone walls bring a beautiful feel to a ceremony.

The Outdoor Ceremony spot is a beautiful location and I often take family portraits in the same area for it’s beautiful landscaped space.

5. Wedding Photography at Caswell House

“The perfect Cotswolds Wedding weekend”

We find a few moments to pop away from the guests, to take in a breath. We discuss our favourite moments so far and cherish the quiet time together.

In the distance we can hear the guests chatting, laughing and the clinking of glasses.

The day has been absolutely perfect.
