Relaxed London Wedding

St Stephen’s, Hampstead Heath and Wimbourne House, Shoreditch

I first heard from Rowena and Sam last Summer after  Michelle from Ritzy Events recommended my photography. When Rowena first contacted me, she described their day as ‘relaxed, elegant and fun’ – my absolute favourite combination of words when explaining a wedding day. I have been so excited to photograph their day since they booked and I was not disappointed on the day. Throughout the day the focus was on fun with a relaxed vibe.

Rowena and Sam chose  St Stephen’s, Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead for their civil ceremony. For a London wedding ceremony, you could not hear a sound; it was if we were transported to a countryside church as soon as we entered. The room was decorated with olive trees, floral touches, abundances of candles and fairy lights; which made for perfect backdrops for their wedding images.

The days working up to the wedding day was focused on baking; Rowena baked some delicious cakes for her guests to enjoy straight after the ceremony accompanied by a bottle of fizz. Her cakes were lightly decorated with the beautiful Forage and Blossom’s beautiful flowers, a close friend of the bride.

Rowena’s make up artist, Laura Anne did an incredible job on hair and makeup but also had a glitter stand during the evening for all the guests to take advantage of! It was an absolute pleasure to document Rowena and Sam’s Central London wedding; from start, to finish, the day was styled beautifully and was SO enjoyable.
