A day in the life of an Ashridge House Wedding Photographer

Ashridge House Wedding Photographer

Ashridge House is the perfect venue for a wedding celebration – it has the architecture, the gardens and great light.

Being an Ashridge House Wedding Photographer is a dream.

I first worked at Ashridge House in Spring 2024; it was on my bucket list and after 10 years of photographing weddings I was able to tick it off the list. Now completed, I still want to return and capture more so when Aimee and Ryan enquired I was overjoyed.

Wedding Portraits at Ashridge House

A + R were excited to explore the grounds throughout their wedding day to take advantage of the light. The 190 acres of Grade II* landscaped gardens are ideal for a range of portraits though we stayed nearby to the venue to ensure A + R could enjoy the most of their day. The golden hour created some really soft beautiful portraits and also allowed the couple some time alone away from the guests during the meal.

The Ceremony at Ashridge House

The walk down the aisle is possibly the most unique in the UK. The grand Main Hall is a beautiful setting for a ceremony and flows wonderfully into the drinks reception out into the gardens via the library.
