Scotland Wedding Photographer
Emily and David wed at Altskeith House overlooking the picturesque Loch Ard in Scotland in May 2019. Their wedding day was super laid back and relaxed, which was perfect for the surroundings. As a Wedding Photographer covering Scotland, I regularly travel via plane or train, on this occasion I decided to extend the work trip with a trip up to Loch Ness.

The Ceremony
The venue had lots of options for outdoor ceremonies if the weather is playing ball. It was very rainy on the morning of Emily and David’s wedding so they opted to use the indoor space which had a stunning view of the loch. In Scotland the celebrants are wonderful – I love their ceremonies, they make them so special and personal.

Rory the pooch
There were some lovely touches on their wedding day involving an appearance from their pup and a doggy biscuit goody bag for guests to take home with them.

The Lake Portraits
We were so lucky the rain stopped and allowed us to row on the loch to get some beautiful portraits after their speeches. I was fortunate enought to get in a boat and follow the newlyweds on the lake to capture some more up come portraits in the centre. Jamie even flew his drone for a quick shot of them from above. As a Scotland Wedding Photographer; this was perfect, I was able to capture Emily and David on the lake in such a beautifully natural way and get the best views in the background!
