The girl behind the lens

Hi, I’m Lucie.

New wife, and even newer mummy! Storyteller, golden hour chaser, and sentimental soul.

I live in Hertfordshire with my wonderful husband, Jamie (my second shooter, associate, and best friend in the whole wide world!)

A few years ago we met a stray dog in Spain, brought her home, and named her Kamala. We got married in Lake Como. And in the summer of 2025, we had our baby girl, Eliza.

We’re out and about a lot together as a family. National Trust houses, and RHS gardens. Walks with Kamala, Paris with Eliza…anywhere really, we just love exploring!

I love gardening, early nights, bubble baths, and a cosy warm fire before bed (oh God, I sound so old!)

I’m young at heart, but I am definitely an old soul! There’s something about the passing of time that just gets to me, you know? The changing of seasons; that soft sadness of nostalgia. The way a smell, or a song, can transport us back.

And as a photographer, it carries into everything I do. My edit, my colours; the experience I’ll give you, the moments I’ll find.

Because I’m not taking them for ‘likes’. I’m taking them to be loved. To be cared for, cherished, and framed. And- one day– passed down.

I always loved holiday photos growing up.

I’d go with my mum to Boots, and print them off. Carefully sliding them into their novelty album (shells for Greece; lemons for Sorrento). Telling the story of our holiday with each turn of the page.

But as geeky as Little Lucie was, it wasn’t the organising of them I loved so much. It was the memories that came tumbling with them.

Tan-lined smiles, Lemon Fanta, and buffet breakfasts. Those sandy chips, those waves, that beach. The “do you remember?” stories from the days when it was us.

And as the years crept by, those photos gathered value.

Sitting with my grandad, and telling him those same stories. Seeing rare glimmers of him, as he found his way back through the fog.

And more than anything, that’s what I want to give you. Not just the picture-perfect moments, but the flashes of life in-between. The people you love, lit-up with laughter; the stories you’ll tell, and retell through the years.

Giving you wedding photos you’ll always love. Because with each turn of the page, your memories will come tumbling with them.
