When I received an email from Emily and Grant asking if I would photograph their Castle Wedding in Scotland I could not be more excited. Being a Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photographer was a tick off my
I flew to Edinburgh the day before, and took a





Photographing the special moments between Emily and her mother was so wonderful; the rooms also produced lots of light which helped ensure the photos were taken naturally.





Meanwhile my second shooter; Jasmin photographed Grant getting ready at the cottage on the edge of the grounds.




The lighting in the ceremony area is a perfect for a Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photographer. Whether it’s the ceremony or the reception the lighting is ideal and I love the white walls a lot!














The grounds are also perfect examples








Any one who knows me knows I love pups; so when Emily’s family pet appeared I was over the moon. We took some quick snaps before heading off for our couple portraits just before speeches commenced.







There are lots of areas on the grounds which allowed us to explore new places for each part of the day. I especially loved the greenhouse and the autumnal Ivy.





I adored the flowers by Whitehouse flowers – not only were they beautiful but Anne-Kathrin was so passionate and helpful on the wedding day. She stayed to set up both the ceremony and the reception which isn’t often done!





Carlowrie Castle Wedding Photography at Golden Hour.
We were lucky enough that is stayed dry throughout the day so we were able to go out for a second round of photographs later in the afternoon; this is when my couples are more relaxed and I tend to get the fun shots!







How beautiful is Carlowrie Castle!










I stayed for around an hour after the first dance to capture the dancing and was treated with the Scottish Traditional dance; I have photographed them in the part but never for a Scottish wedding! The ceilidh band were fantastic and got everyone dancing!
