I had the pleasure of being a Granary Estate Wedding Photographer earlier this year for Laura and Rob’s June wedding day.
Laura started prep at the beautiful Bedford Lodge Hotel; if I could pick a bridal prep location this would be the one I’d choose. The rooms are airy and light; with big windows allowing for great lighting for prep and for detail photos. The hotel also presented some incredible plates of pancakes!
Laura and Rob wed in Holy Trinity Church, Bottisham. The lighting again in the church was beautiful too; lots of light for less grain! The area was so peaceful and there was a idyllic walkway for confetti.
I was so amazed by Laura’s hard work on the calligraphy and styling for the wedding day; with lots of links to the place they got engaged in (Kew Gardens!). Photos of the pre wedding shoot at Kew Gardens subtly featured on the day. I absolutely loved the postcard box idea!
I loved the cake table by One Part Love Bakery.
The Granary Estate is a beautiful wedding venue in Newmarket. For a Granary Estate wedding
Laura and Rob were more than happy to head out in the rain to try get some golden hour shots (the light was still beautiful). When we walked into the field we noticed there was not only beautiful light but a double rainbow. We had so much fun spending sometime outside; it was such a beautiful ten minutes.
Laura and Rob made sure there was so much fun involved on their wedding day; from playing with the football table, to the space hoopers and the giant confetti cannons.
I can’t wait to be a Granary Estate Wedding Photographer again very soon!
