Inspirational Shoot at Middleton Lodge

August 10, 2020

Middleton Lodge Wedding Photographer

In July I had the pleasure to collaborate with some incredible suppliers at Middleton Lodge in North Yorkshire. The weather was perfect and the flowers were all in bloom covering the entire gardens beautifully. As a Middleton Lodge Wedding Photographer, I explored all areas of the gardens and loved the variety of colours.

Due to the obvious Covid restrictions in place, the hair stylist (Unity Rhodes) styled the bride’s hair with a protective visor, which will hopefully demonstrate to couples the safe practices that wedding professionals are adhering to, and also shows that by following these safe guidelines it is still just as achievable to have their hair styled on their wedding day.

Make Up Kate Howard Make Up Artist guided our model to achieve the finished look whilst sticking to the covid restrictions in place.

As the photographer, I worked closely with Ash from  Jolly Good Wedding Films to ensure we kept socially distanced throughout. This is very similar to my day-to-day practise so I was very happy! Middleton Lodge provides the perfect space for wedding photography whilst staying socially distanced.

By conducting an outdoor ceremony set up and indoor dining setting, the shoot conveyed the benefits of utilising both outdoor and indoor spaces of their wedding venue, and the importance of choosing a venue with gorgeous options inside and out – which Middleton Lodge certainly has!

You can see some real weddings here.
