I have finally blogged my first 2021 Wedding! I have been working on my website since spring and I can finally start blogging all of my wonderful weddings from this year. So far, I have captured 37 weddings within a space of 5 months. Today I am sharing one of my favourites as I have photographed their day not once but twice! F + J got married at F’s family church in June 2021 followed by an intimate wedding reception at The Grove. F got ready at The Grove, with a beautiful room with a balcony – the perfect location for prep as the light flooding in the room was perfect for hair and make up. F wore a beautiful Suzanne Neville dress which she bought from Bespoke Wardrobe (A Bridal Shop i am so excited to visit myself as a bride!).
The couple decided to go ahead with a smaller, family only ceremony and celebration with the hope to have a big celebration later in the year. It was such a special day to capture; I will never forget the feeling of love and joy that filled the room during the speeches at their reception.We were so lucky to have wonderful weather and even managed to get golden hour portraits which looked incredible on the grounds of The Grove.
One of F’s requests was lots of Black and White which I was so excited to hear as I really love editing in Black and White. Whilst editing a wedding I will select particular photographs that suit B&W and also include the colour versions just incase. I edit more Black and Whites if a couple requests it as I know I’d want lots in B&W for myself.
