5 reasons you’ll love having your wedding in Primrose Hill Farm, Cotswolds
“It felt like home…like we could have an intimate, relaxed day of fun”
Oh my goodness! Primrose Hill Farm wedding venue is a little slice of unhurried bliss. I got to go there- not once, but twice– last summer. And honestly, I fell head-over-heels for the place.
Gorgeous modern barns, peaceful grounds, stunning rural views…if you’ve been dreaming of a stylish, relaxed wedding in the Cotswolds, you have officially found your perfect venue!
But don’t take my word for it, let me show you around.
With Charlie & Dylan, and Emma & Jon’s gorgeously elegant weddings to get you inspired, here’s 5 reasons why you’ll love having your wedding in Primrose Hill Farm.

1. The Primrose Hill Farm wedding experience
High on the hills in the Cotswolds sits a small range of lovingly-converted hay barns.
You drive up the tree-lined driveway, crunch to a stop. And see the huge glass windows of the Dining Barn shining in the sun. You step inside, and immediately feel at peace.
It’s rustic and warm, with old oak beams and lime-washed timber. But stylish and modern, and filled with light.
Step back outside, and you’re surrounded by *the most* peaceful, secluded, beautiful countryside. There’s orchards, gardens, and fields to explore…there’s even a little lake! And all of it looking out across the tumbling Oxfordshire hills.
As Cotswolds wedding venues go, Primrose Hill Farm is as flawless as they come.

2. The perfect place to begin your wedding day
You’ll find them hidden away, just a short walk from the Ceremony Barn. Once traditional farm buildings, now lovingly renovated with one thing in mind…
Your wedding morning.
The prep rooms are spacious, super-comfy, and tastefully chic.
There’s a bathroom, and a kitchen (kettle for tea; fridge for champagne). And with all that natural light flooding through the windows, it’s a wedding photographer’s dream!
But what you’ll love most about it is how intimate it feels. You feel at home, excited, and calm all at once.
The moments Emma shared with her girls; the look on Charlie’s dad’s face when he saw her in her dress for the first time. It’s the kind of place that invites you to make memories. And the perfect place to begin your day.

3. The Ceremony Barn is stunning!
“We love the outdoorsy feel of the indoor trees”
The Ceremony Barn in Primrose Hill Farm is a gorgeous place to say your vows.
The converted barn- with its high ceilings and timber walls- is an inherently beautiful space. And the team at Primrose Hill have *filled it* with life.
Potted trees bring the outdoors in, fill the space, and frame the altar. Fairy-light chandeliers hang above you, and natural light pours through the gable.
And as a final finishing touch, both my couples lined the aisle with summer meadows. C&D with pure white blooms; E&J white, with subtle touches of colour.
It’s such an ‘oh wow’ moment as you walk in. And no matter how many times I shoot a wedding in Primrose Hill Farm, I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it!
And if all that weren’t enough? The courtyard outside is just perfect for confetti!

4. Your wedding reception in Primrose Hill Farm will be idyllic
Your guests mingling on the sun-warm grass; people laughing, glasses clinking. Lush green gardens, sweeping lawns and rolling hills. Nibbles, prosecco and Aperol Spritz.
When you dream of having your drinks reception in the Cotswolds, this is what you imagine.
And when it’s time to eat, the Dining Barn offers a beautiful blank canvas for your styling. Huge barn doors, rustic oak beams, and wooden floors. And all along one side, huge windows, with *those* views.
Both of my couples styled their wedding breakfast to elegant, understated perfection. And both times, I walked into the Dining Barn and did a little ‘fine-art wedding photographer’ happy dance!

5. Wedding photography in Primrose Hill Farm
“Incredible rolling views of the countryside we spend most of our weekends roaming around”
Once or twice during the day, you leave your guests behind for a while, take each other by the hand, and go for a stroll.
The sound of the party fades away, the grass swishes at your feet. The faint bleating of sheep carries over across the hills.
And there’s no rush.
You have nowhere to be, no photo ops to race through. It’s just the two of you, that view, and those newly-ringed hands to squeeze.
And for me, that’s the beauty of Primrose Hill Farm wedding venue- that ‘best of both worlds’ experience.
The stylish, modern luxury of the venue itself. And the vast, unspoilt nature on its doorstep.
If this is the kind of experience you’ve been dreaming of, I’d love to be the one to capture it for you.

A few Primrose Hill Farm wedding FAQs
Do we have to style it in the same way?
No! Your wedding in Primrose Hill Farm will be beautiful however you style it.

What if it rains?
Don’t worry (seriously, don’t worry!)
There’s tons of space inside for up to 120 guests. There’s a separate barn for each part of your day (ceremony, dinner, reception), so you’ll never have to leave while they set up.
