Relaxed Italy Wedding Photographer
Being an Italy Wedding Photographer is a complete dream come true as Italy is my favourite country to photograph relaxed weddings. Understandably as I am based in Cambridgeshire in the UK for the winter months. It’s likely to rain come Winter or Summer while in Italy the weather is in your favour (most of the time!). I have compiled a list of wedding venues that are perfect for relaxed wedding vibes for you to enjoy looking through.
Villa Cipressi, Lake Como – Italy Wedding Photographer
I photographed Kat and Liam’s Relaxed Italy wedding at the beautiful Villa Cipressi in 2018. The views from the venue are stunning and make the venue effortlessly beautiful. The ceremony area is perfect with added shade from the carefully positioned trees. After the ceremony, enjoy strolling through the gardens for some portraits.
Villa Cipressi is available for ceremony only and full day exclusive events which is very handy if you are looking to move to somewhere else on the lake for the reception like Kat and Liam did.
Lazy Olive, Tuscany
The Lazy Olive has been on my radar for a while as an Italy Wedding Photographer. I spotted the venue a while back on Instagram whilst exploring venues in Tuscany. Lazy Olive is perfect location for an extended stay with family and friends. In addition, you can enjoy a post-wedding BBQ and pool party overlooking the rolling hills you got married by. I especially love the variety of location options for your ceremony and reception dinner. I would love to photograph a wedding at the Lazy Olive one day!
Villa Lavanda, Tuscany
In the same region as Lazy Olive, the Villa Lavanda is a beautiful Villa perfect for an intimate wedding with the stunning views of the rolling Tuscan Hills. There is an olive grove perfect for a ceremony and a courtyard for dinner under the stars.
Hotel Marincanto, Positano
Photographing an Amalfi Coast wedding is a dream, and the beautiful coastlines showcase the cutest colourful buildings with beautiful sunsets. The Romantic Marincanto has a perfect spot along the coastline to enjoy the views while being close enough to go down to the beach for some portraits along the water edge which is perfect for a relaxed Italy wedding photographer such as myself. It is no wonder that this venue pops up often on my Pinterest feed regularly, and, it’s clear to see why.
Villa Medicea di Lilliano, Tuscany
Tuscany is the hub of weddings in Italy with another beautiful venue situated in the Tuscan Hills. Villa Medicea di Lilliano provides the perfect set up with a relaxed wedding day for both the ceremony and reception. Only 15 minutes drive away from Florence which a major perk too especially for guests who have flown in for the occasion. Being so close to the city is ideal for events leading up to the wedding day. I’d love to host a Hen Party in Florence!
